My daughter desperately wants to meet Tinkerbell. We got her costume from the disney store today, which she was very excited about. She is going to BBB before we go to Toontown. But, she wants to get her face painted as well. Does anyone know what time it opens? Would I be better off going to meet Tink first, before I get her face painted? Just an fyi - she will do the BBB photo shoot, but I won't schedule that until later.

I asked this same question last month before our March trip. This is what I can tell you. We spent a lot of time in MK, so I had a chance to see the wait times several times to verify that the wait time is very long no matter what unless you are at TT before rope drop. The rope dropped around 9:45am the morning we were waiting. We were escorted to Pixie Hollow by a CM (along with all the others who were waiting). I would say that we ended up being the 6th or 7th family there and waited about 20 minutes. It really is a slow moving line because they take one family in at a time. Being there at rope drop is the only way I know how to avoid the 60-90 minute wait! Hope this helps!:)

I would also strongly urge being there before rope drop. We had the same experience as the previous poster. Little wait by getting there at rope drop. It was very nice!

I can vouch for this as well! When we were there in March, I was unaware that the TT rope dropped at 9:45, and was there at 10:00. There was a 60 minute wait. No joke! We had to miss Tink this trip and know now to plan better next time!

Just came back from there and I agree run don't walk and be one of the first to the ropes at toontown.:thumbsup2

Just 2 options for seeing the faires.

Be there are rope drop.
Wait 60-90 minutes.

OK, so if we have to get our FL resident tickets once we reach the park...where?
and, if we want to see Tink...
When do we need to arrive at MK in order to be there at rope drop and fly (pun intended) over to the fairies?

Tickets would be obtained at Guest Relations outside the park entrance.

But Toontown doesn't open until 9:45 normally (published time 10 AM, actual 9:45) and the park opens at 9:00 AM, so I don't think you will have an issue making it to Toontown long before it opens.

You can visit any Guest Relations window to get your tickets.

Toontown opens at 10:00am one hour later than the rest of MK. However since the opening of Pixie Hollow, Toontown has a soft opening at 9:45 most mornings.

It's a toughie, you either have to wait half an hour or more during prime touring time (the first hour the park is open) or wait an hour or more later in the day.

Has anyone done this in the evening? Are they even there on late nights? A few nights that we'll be there, MK is open to midnight. Any chances the line is shorter in the late hours??

I want to see Tink, my kids will probably be sleeping in the stroller at that time! :rotfl2:

The line is pretty long even late, but you may have some luck.

We will be going late in June so we can catch Silvermist and Fawn, I am told they greet in the evenings. So far we have only caught Iridessa and Rosetta by going in the a.m.

Thanks for that tidbit of info...dd loves Tink, but Silvermist is a close 2nd!

Thanks. I'm not at all picky which faires will be there. Honestly, I don't know any of them - I have boys! :rotfl:

I just wanted to experience the "shrinking down to fairy size" :rotfl2: It sounds so cute!

I've read that some days it ends at 4pm. But I'm thinking that must of been off season back in Winter. I can't see that happening in June.

Are the fairies there from open to close? Also, since they seem to switch fairies; is there a way to find out what times Tink with be there? My younger daughter would really get a kick out of seeing her! Especially with the whole shrinking thing....

Tink is always there.

Two other fairies greet with her, Rosetta and Iridessa or Fawn and Silvermist.
