No, Tink isn't on the wagon, it's just that she was so breathtaking during the holidays when she flew out of the castle all illumated in green and blue. We were disappointed to see after the 2nd that she was only lit by a spotlight. :( I think they should have her lit up every night and just change the costume or the light colors.

We didn't even get to see her fly when we were there. DD was VERY upset. We went to the MVMCP on 12/7 and had heard that she flew the previous party night. It was a clear night too. Bummer.

Don't know how true this is, but I read somewhere that Disney was having a Pixel (or is the word Pixie) issue with Tinkerbell and Jimney Cricket will be her replacement. Again I could be incorrect. I read so much Disney stuff - I don't even know where I read that.

I'm pretty sure it was a wdwinfo.com newsletter, because I read the same thing. :)

My cousin was Tinkerbell for a few years...she told me that on days that it rained, even if it stopped prior to the show, the line would be wet and the handbrakes would not work well. Therefore, Disney always gave her the option of not flying. On one occasion that it rained and stopped just prior to her flight...she decided to fly because her parents were watching. Well, she flew so fast down the zip line that not even two guys that wait on a roof top in tomorrowland where she lands could stop her. The usually catch her in a blanket too slow her down....but she was going so fast, that they couldn't keep up with her and she hit a padded wall. She was OK, but it makes for a funny story that she now tells her children. It was a good job too...she was able to park (underground) near the castle, she would walk to the top, fly, and they would drive her back to her car and pay her $100 per flight. There were two tinkerbells that they took turns every night. She was in her early 20's at the time...she is only about 5ft tall. Her husband also worked for Disney in contruction. So I guess they were a Disney Family.

More info on jiminy?? I get that newsletter but do not remember that.

Tinks flying is a highlight for my DD. I hope she continues.

What is the inside of the castle like? How does she climb to the top? Did she get to see Walt's apartment in there? Exactly where is it? Just below the clock or up higher and on which side?

I watched Wishes on January 5. Tinkerbelle was quite lit, blue and green-I don't remember any spotlight on her. She came down the wire to the bush on top of the resturaunt there in Tomorrowland.

She probably just had a light problem. We were there non holiday and she was always lit.

Everytime I've seen her fly, she's lit. Although, I think I have seen her NOT fly more than I've seen her fly! :D
