So Tinkerbell hooked us on her pixie crack and we've started planning our return to DLR.:scared:

Anyways, we want to go offseason this time around and the most legitimate months seem to be October, February, or March. More likely than not, Feb or March.

So.... who can tell me what kind of deals roll around come Feb & Mar, and what the crowds are like, etc?

In other words, convince me to keep buying the crack...

Early spring has brought "Everyone Plays at Kids' Prices" hopper deals for the last couple years. February is an awesome month to go as long as you avoid President's Day week (yes the whole week). More and more schools are offering the entire week off.

The first week of March is good, but then you will start to hit Spring Breaks the second week. Easter is early this year so expect the last 3 weeks of March and most of April to be busy with spring breakers.

Keep your eye on the reburbs as this is a time where they will close several rides for refurbishment.

Oh, and call now to secure a HoJo entertainment rate! :thumbsup2

pixie crack - that's one of the funniest (and truest) things I've read!!:rotfl2:

I gotta get me some more pixie crack!!! Is there a patch for a pixie crack addiction??

Sorry... I just found this very amusing!!

If you go in March stick to the first week. After that spring breaks start and it gets crazy for the next month or so until Easter. We went about March 7 last yr and the first 2 days were great but the last day, March 11 I think, was the "official" start to spring break crowds and it WAS. It was a Monday and super crowded compared to the Thurs/Fri the week before.
The weather was unseasonably hot for us-in the 80s-figures! I think it probably averages in the 70's that time of yr?

Not sure what your restrictions are but you might consider the first part of December if you can. You get the added bonus of all the holiday decorations which sounds really cool to me and low crowds.

We have been in Feb., March and October! I would stay away from March- lots of conventions even before Spring Breaks start. Our absolute fav time to go is around Halloween. The weather is awesome and the lines are very short. Feb is our next fav month but there is the chance of rain. It didn't bother us much cause we are from Salem, OR and it rains a lot during the winter, but other people left. The problem is that several rides are closed due to rain. The other plus to Oct is Mickeys (Halloween) Party at DCA- it was really awesome!
Either month is fun! Enjoy!

LOL, I just had to add my two cents that your title and first line were hysterical! Good stuff.

Honestly, if you are on this board, you are an addict and the first step is acknowledging that to yourself and others. Nice job!

I think Goofy is dealing something entirely different however...popcorn::

...ahhh, that explains Tinks mood swings! :lmao:

Have a wonderful trip... It's a truly amazingly wonderful place. :goodvibes

We were there in the middle of October last year and the crowds were not too bad. Beautiful weather and the Halloween decorations were very nice. I didn't think I would like them (I wanted the regular Disneyland atmosphere), but they were very nice! The Jack-o-lanterns were cool and the California letters were giant candy corn(who doesn't love candy corn :rolleyes1 )
