Tinkerbell gifts

We always do the same present from Tink...

At the World of Disney Store in DTD (and I'm sure these are available everywhere) I get the Disney chocolate "coins" that are wrapped in foil and each coin has a character on the foil.

We leave a chocolate coin on each kid's pillow. We started this the first night of our first trip to WDW. And did it every night of our stay. They LOVED it and it is way cheap.

THEN, the kicker is...when we got back home, when they went to get in their own beds, a chocloate coin was there! The FLIPPED out! Fortunately, I stocked up on the coins before leaving the World, so now every month or so, they get a surprise visit from Tink. It really keeps the magic going until our next trip.

Our kids now are 7, 5, and 3.5 and they ALL believe and aboslutely go nuts when Tink "visits."

Good luck and enjoy--make your own family tradition.

I think you've given me a great idea. We are going to Disney World in a little over 2 weeks. We haven't told the kids yet and I've been wondering how to tell them.

I think I got it! Tink will leave them a little surprise before we go!

I'm stocking up on Tink gifts too! My girls are 18 months and 7. Walmart has the cutest bath mitts in the toy dept. I got a Mickey one for my oldest and a nemo one for the youngest. I've also got princess undies, princess snacks, color books, markers, stickers, autograph books, necklaces, notepads and I even embroidered Mickey heads on some of their shirts! I can't wait! We leave in 4 weeks!!! :Pinkbounc

Oh my gosh...something else for me to add to my list!! And DH already thinks I'm crazy for planning what we're going to ride, eat, and even wear 5 months in advance! :rotfl:

We're planning to surprise the kids about the whole trip. We're driving and spending the first night at my aunt's. I'm planning on telling them the next morning at her house, and now I know what I'll do...Tink will leave a special present for each with a card inviting them to WDW! Then she'll keep leaving little gifts each night. :tink:

These are all such great ideas. This will be the first time we take our DC to WDW, and I love this!!

Thanks to all!! :goodvibes

I will tell you.. TinkerBell is the hugest hit... Its so much fun.. plus just seeing their twinkling little eyes that Tinkerbell was in the room.. its so precious!!! Plus... it really starts their day off great!

My DD loves her gifts from Tinkerbell too! Tink usually leaves the gifts at night, but on occasion, has been known to stop by the hotel before DD is asleep! On our last trip, DD had really been looking at the "Tramp" stuffed animal. She loves dogs, and she had already bought "Lady", and really wanted Tramp too! So, I snuck and bought him for her, and later, when she finished her bath and was getting ready for bed, she saw a lump in her bed and discovered Tramp was waiting for her! She was so excited!! It is just so cute to see the look on the look on her face when she sees her Tink gifts!

we are waking up in 5 hours.. and I am going to get no sleep!! Too excited!

I just packed our tinkerbell stuff... DD just now went to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! You guys have me so excited to do this for my DD7 & DD4! I have already starting buying some things so now i will use them as gifts. We have not told them about out Aug trip yet, I did an invitation from Cinderella to lunch at the Castle the 2nd day of our trip. I can't wait to see my DD7's eyes as she reads it and figures out what it means!!!!
This is such a great idea. I bought them little dresses with Minnie on the fron for our 1st night dinner at ChefMickey's, now I think I am going to write a welcome note for those and leave them on the beds when we return from the pool that 1st day!
Now, I have to plan out the rest... I am so excited! :cheer2:

thanks again fro sharing!

This idea is so much fun :goodvibes ! I love this post. We're not going till next year but I love the thought of finding little treasures for our trip.My DD5 loves Tink. And this will keep the magic going. I also love the idea of the Minnie dresses at Chef Mickeys and the invite from Cinderella to the castle. Thanks to everyone for all the awesome ideas. No wonder I cry everytime I go to WDW.Stacylm:lovestruc (DH :rolleyes2 )

I was at Wal-Mart today, and they have black or denim coin purses with Tinkerbell, Lady and the Tramp, Eeyore and Cinderella by the women's purses for $2.96. They also have larger purses and totes with the same characters, but I was specifically looking for Tinkerbell gifts. I also picked up the bath mitts in the toy section - they had Mickey, Nemo, Patch (from 101 Dalmatians), and Dumbo. They also had Disney sunglasses on clearance for $3 and some Disney watches on clearance for $2 (I saw Aladdin and Cinderella). They are also carrying Cars items (not on clearance) such as sunglasses, watches, clothes and toys for those of you shopping for Cars fans. I also saw playing cards for $1 - Pooh, princesses, Dora, Spongebob, Scooby Doo, etc. Happy shopping!

I am loving this! I just did a "Cinderella Castle Invitation" on cardstock for DD. I hope to go shopping this week. I am going to check out Disney store and Target. Any good stuff there?

I checked out giftsofalifetime.com. Has anyone had stuff delivered to their room when they got there? I am just weary of it getting there. Also, wdwflorist.com deliveries. Please advise!

Leaving in 8 days!!

Minnie & Mickey left Disney P.J.'s on my kids beds on our arrival day with a note to get a good nights sleep because they couldn't wait to meet them the next day. We had ADR's at Chef Mickeys.
