DSS is almost 11. While we are not quite dragging him to Disney with us, he's not jumping up and down to go. Regardless, I have a bunch of stuff for DSD for Tinkerbell gifts. I'm not one of these 'keep the kids even' people but I know once DSD is getting stuff, DSS will be in the Disney mood by then and will be upset that he gets very little. So I need ideas for Tinkerbell gifts for him. He does not like Cars, though I have recently discovered he seems to like Pirates. I would prefer to keep the gifts cheap, Disney related things though on our waterpark day they are both getting waterproof cameras. Any suggestions?

Walmart has a ton of Pirates stuff now that the movie has come out. We got my brother tshirts, lanyards, small notebooks. You might also try Claires. They have lots and no its not all girly. The Dollar Tree had gummi candies. Those were cute. How about one of the small fans? Maybe a hat.

We just did a trip to the Disney store and they are having a great sale on shirts 3/$15. Bought all Pirates ones for the kids (and us adults) for the next trip...well, they WERE for the next trip, but we are wearing them already. Also, they have the Pirates hats. Beach towels were 3/$12 or 3/$15 and we bought 2 pirates ones and 1 Lilo. Oh, if you went to see POTC on opening weekend and bring in your ticket stub, they will give you a package of POTC tatoos for free (no purchase necessary).

Walmart has the personal mister fans for $2.97 and they also carry small POTC puzzles for $4 or $5 that DSS can put together in the room in the evening (we got both variations that we saw).

Lots of good stuff with the POTC theme. Good luck! pirate:

What about a gift card for the arcade? We were at WL in April, and found that the arcade takes cards now (like a credit card) for games. I'm assuming that this is the same in all disney hotels. You could have your spouse run to the game room and purchase the card(s) while you checkin or vice versa.

Which hotel are you staying at? I'm having a gift basket made for my DD and I'm including a gift card to the arcade at Pop Century!
