My daughter will be 5 in July and has decided she wants a Tinkerbell theme for her party. I have found decorations in Party City but nothing that I can use for the cake. I have to admit this is a big undertaking for me, her very creative uncle usually handles this end but he cannot come this year. Has anyone done a Tink cake and can anyone give me some ideas? Thank you for any and all help.

I was actually just going to find the Castle Cake that Pandy had posted. I had seen it before while searching for an idea for DS's party. What you could do is make the Castle Cake, and then rig a 'wire' for tink to fly (red licorice whip?) and attach that to the top of one of the turrets, and then make another little cup cake or something to tie the other end off to?

I haven't done one but a couple of my sisters have bought special frosting sheets and icing that you can put in a printer. You do have to have a dedicated printer but any picture can work.

You might call around and see if a bakery can do one for you, I know they have at times just printed the cake top and taken it places. They bought a Harry Potter cake top to my neice. I keep thinking maybe I should do some of those, I have the extra printer but haven't done any.
