Tinker Mickey

DS has autism and just was certain I had to make him a tinker mickey. I tried to explain that Tink is a girl and mickey a boy. That it just doesn't work. Needless to say, we have a tinker mickey. I just wondered if other SN kids also like this even though it doesn't make sense.

I love it! I don't think there is anything wrong with it. If it makes him happy that is all that matters! My daughter with special needs requests stuff like this all the time. She is actually obsessed with Cars and so many times wears boys stuff even underwear but it makes her happier and makes life easier so we don't fight it. I was so excited to find pink cars shoes in the girls department at Wal-mart recently I of course bought them. I am thinking of going back and getting the next couple of sizes before they no longer sell them!
