Today was a special day, it was Tobys 9th birthday. We were all excited but had to wake Toby up to open his presents as we had reservations at Chef Mickeys. He had a card from Mousekeeping wishing him Happy Birthday with a photopass card in it, which was a lovely thought.
Breakfast at Chef Mickeys was loud and fun, exactly as I had remembered it. They made a lot of fuss of the birthday children and Toby left feeling very special. The food was plentiful and varied and of course, we all ate way too much.
Now today was a special day for another reason WE HAD SUN AND IT WAS HOT this was the first and only day that this happened, so Jan took Toby and Emily to Blizzard Beach and I sunbathed on the beach at the Poly. While they were running around like mad peeps I was sunning myself and drinking my 2nd cocktail of the holiday. I have no idea what it was but I chose one that had the most alcohol in and it was fab.

We met up again around 5pm and quickly showered and donned our party ears for MVMCP.
What can I say about this party, IT WAS GREAT and we had lots of fun, although it was quite cold it wasnt as cold as it had been the day before. You had free, hot chocolate, apple juice, cookies and apple slices and they were available in lots of places. We went on the Runaway train 3 times in a row as there was no queue and did lots of rides. The fireworks were great and the parade brilliant, with new things added, like different smells as the floats went by e.g. cinnamon. We eventually left at 12.30 after having a truly magical evening.
