Today Em and I decided to shop til we drop at the Florida Mall and boy did we. We visited every major department store and lots of little shops. After 7 hours we were shopped out well I defy anybody to shop more than we did. We purchased all of our Christmas presents that we needed to get as well as copious amounts of clothes for Emily. Whilst in Nordstrom Em condensed our bags into 8 each as we just could not carry them. Have to say that Abercrombie & Fitch are so much cheaper than the UK, Pair of mens jeans £120 in the UK, $68 in the USA. We were both so glad to relax in the taxi back we were so tired that he could have charged us $100 and I wouldnt have cared, I just needed the rest as we didnt even have any lunch, we just marched on.
After an hour of feet stuck in the air on the bed we knew it was time to leave and meet Jan and Toby in Epcot, so I put on my trainers (felt like a real chav) and went to Epcot. One thing I always like to do is to walk around the world showcase and have a little tipple in each country well you may have guessed from my report no alcohol has been mentioned as my friend does not drink. So except for two cocktails, I did not drink any more alcohol, so really I was detoxing!!! It seemed strange going to Mexico and having wait for it a sprite with dinner, but this is what I did. The outdoor seating in Mexico is fab and was absolutely packed, but we managed to get a table and all sat down to eat our food, which was scrummy and cheap.
Em and Toby went to Mexico and collected a bear thing (cannot remember its name) and proceeded to get stamps from a few of the countries, up to China. We then watched our first showing of the Epcot fireworks this holiday and they did not disappoint. Their Holiday fireworks Peace on Earth were outstanding and actually bought a lump to my throat. They went on for ages and were so loud that my chest was vibrating. I have to say that barring the millennium which we spent at Epcot these were the best fireworks I had ever seen and I was really glad that we had planned to see them again before we left.
When they finished we made our way out and decided to get a bus back to the Poly bad idea as there arent any to the Poly, only the monorail, which was packed. But we only waited about 30 mins in the end, so given our previous experiences with the Poly and transport, this was not bad going.
