Today was another bitterly cold, yet fairly sunny day, so we decided to spend the day in Hollywood Studios as we had the Fantasmic package booked later. Well this morning we waited 40 mins for a bus, with only 2 coming in this period to other parks.
This park was very busy and there were no fast passes left for Toy Story Mania with 1 hour waits, so we just ambled around the park, going on the rides and seeing shows. We had a Fantasmic package booked with Mama Melrose and the food did not disappoint. I love the ambience of this restaurant and the servers are always friendly.
After a 2pm late lunch, we did some more rides, watched the Lights Camera, Action show and went to see Fantasmic. I was glad that we had tickets as we arrived about 15 mins from the start of the show and they were turning people away as they were full. The show has changed from when I saw it in 2008, but it was still very good and we all loved it.
After the show we went to see the Osborne Family Lights and they were fantastic. I have seen them before but the other three had not and they were absolutely amazed. The whole look and feel is just lovely and Christmassy. Toby and Emily loved it and were swaying to the music whilst walking around. We must have stayed here for ages as when we left the park was closing. So we quickly headed to the shops, spent some money and then waited in the most ridiculously long queue for a bus. In the end we joined the transporation and ticket centre bus as the Poly queue was going nowhere. As it was we waited 35 mins, but it would have been at least 35 mins more if we had waited in the Poly queue.
