Hello I hope you don't mind but.....

I need some help with my timing for ADRs.

We are planning on Aquatica and either Typhoon Lagoon (went last trip and had a blast) or Blizzard Beach.

Currently in the middle of a 20 day itinerary and not sure how much time I'll need to spend at the WPs, when to arrive and how long I'll need to get from WP to Restaurants. We will be using Mears/taxi and WDW transport, staying at POFQ

This is my day 10 to 20

Mon Day off then Jiko, plan to have a wander around resort before dinner.
Tues this would be a waterpark day then either Yachtsman or The Wave
Wed Seaworld using mears/taxi, eating lunch there and CS at POFQ when we return
Thurs Ep World showcase day but leaving before Illuminations
Fri Day off Dinner at Cali Grill at 7pm, will have left over cake in a box, maybe stay at CR for wishes at 10
Sat Day off Dinner at Cape May Cafe at 5pm
Mon Discovery Cove until 4pm, freshen up there and dress appropriately for Narcoossee's at 6ish
Tues HS 2nd day planned late start hoping to catch drawing show, some fillers, maybe some fast passes. Going to sit down TS in park and maybe stay til park closing at 7
Wed this would be a waterpark day then either Yachtsman or The Wave
Thurs Epcot our 3rd day here so not quite RD, collect Fast Passes, lunch at le Cellier if we can get an ADR, back to have 2-3 hours rest and then back to Epcot for fast pass rides and illuminations
Fri head to airport at 10am

Would we need to head back to resort or can we freshen up at WP, do they have hairdryers?
I had read in the planner, to decide how long to spend at a WP and then work that back from time you would need to leave the park. If we were to stay 4-5 hours at a park, what time should we arrive to have an ADR at 6ish. We are going in October.

I know DC is a RD day but I'm treating it as a relaxing day.

I really appreciate some input on my plan. Have already cut out Busch gardens out of day 12, so we can have another Day Off!

Thanks in advance
Nikki

Can't help with Aquatica but the Disney waterparks as you have them pencilled in should work fine. The waterparks open at 10 and close at 5.

For both of them, the bus from POFQ loops around Riverside and for TL it stops at DTD first so give yourself around an hour to get there to be safe.

If you want to enjoy all the slides and things to offer there as well as a bit of lying around in the sun you should be fine arriving at 10 and leaving between 3 and 4.30 pm and still make a relatively early ADR onsite.

Hi Lee Thanks for the speedy reply. Did u notice if there were hair dryers in the changing rooms? That way we could get ready for dinner at the Waterpark. Hate the idea of travelling back to resort to get ready and then travel again for dinner!

I didn't notice to be honest. We never use the changing rooms there. I am sure someone will be able to tell you though. But remember, you will have your wet clothes with you. Do you really want to take those with you when you go to dinner? That is the only reason we leave a bit earlier so we can go and drop our things off and get changed in the comfort of our own room. Okay, I'll admit, part of it is that I don't like using 'public' showers and changing rooms, but from a practical point of view, wet clothes and bathing suits are heavy.

I asked my GF and she confirmed that the Disney WP's do have hair dryers. Can't remember if Aquatica does or not, sorry!

Thanks for asking your GF. Great news about the hairdryers. Just need to find a nice bag to carry wet swim stuff in!
