Timing question - Dinner at Sanaa to ROL?

I'd appreciate any advice people have--
I'm trying to decide what time I should make my family's dinner reservations for Sanaa, if we want to get to River of Lights that evening. We'll have reserved viewing (due to our breakfast package) and ROL is currently scheduled for 8:30.

I was thinking may 6:00pm? We'd eat 6-7:30pm (don't think it will actually take this long), travel 30 minutes, and then be at the viewing area at 8pm. We'll be there the last week in March (i.e. busy/some spring breaks).

Is this cutting it too close? The restaurant is pretty close to the park. Will our ability to get into the reserved area disappear at 8pm? We want to have time to relax during our mid-afternoon break before dinner, but also not miss the show. We head to Disney every few years, but we haven't been since ROL began showing. Right now there is good availability for dinner and I can move the ADR around.

Your times should be good. i would show up to Sanaa a little early. If you can move it up 30 minutes, I would. I doubt you will be there 90 minutes. Its only a 5 minute bus ride. But, you have to go through security, may or may not be a line.
Its not a long walk to RoL.

Thanks, I was thinking this too. It's easy to book a 5:30 instead of a 6pm right now. Although we want a mid-afternoon break, I'm not sure how relaxing it will be if I'm stressing the whole time about getting there on time. I might move it just to feel more relaxed about the whole thing.
Good to know that it should be fine though.
