Timing of Fastpasses on Arrival Day?

My husband and I are planning an adult-only trip in August. Our plane arrives at MCO at 9:00 am and we're taking the Magical Express to the Boardwalk Inn. We plan to head right over to the Magic Kingdom after we arrive, probably by walking through Epcot to the Monorail. What time would you begin your fastpasses that day?

Agree with PP, no earlier than noon. Ensure you have park hopper tickets.

I would begin FP+ selections at 2pm. You will probably need some type of lunch. You can always try to adjust your FP+ once you arrive at MK. This strategy worked wonderfully for us.

I would say 1 or 2 p.m., assuming you are checking into the resort, even if it's a quick in-and-out. By the time you get to the resort, eat lunch, hop a bus, etc.

I usually make my first FP for 4 to 5 hours after our flight lands. And I usually make the first FP one that I won't be upset about missing. I do it with the knowledge that I might miss or have to reschedule that first FP if there's a delay somewhere along the way. In other words, I would have the first FP be for FOP or something of that sort.

1 pm. That gives you time for airport delays, extra time for Magical Express, lunch, hopefully into your room, and the wait for the MK bus.

On day of arrival, i figure out where i will end the night and work backwards from there. I make sure i have 3 FP+ in a row the last 3 hours of the night. That leaves me any room for error that may come up with delayed flights or other travel issues. Then whenever i do get to "the world" I know i can do what ever i want up until my 1st FP+ at 8pm
