We will be visiting the week after Easter which will be very crowded. I could not get FoP FP until 6:50pm, so I am planning to rope drop and do a few things standby, then go to AKL to explore and have lunch at Sanaa (we’ve never done either). Return to park for 2 FP, supper, then 6:50 FoP. I am trying to determine our best option for supper. A 6pm Tiffins will have us in danger of missing our FoP FP. Our last dinner there was fantastic and took 2 hours. I had thought that a 6pm Tusker might work due to it being a buffet. What about Yak and Yeti? How long would you allow to eat there?

6 pm Tusker might cut you too close. Depends on how fast you get seated.
I eat there often and depending on how busy they are, sometimes it takes awhile to get seated.
5:30pm Tusker would be better
Yak & Yeti you order off the menu, depends also on how busy they are, how long it takes to get your food and eat it.

If you can get a Reservation around 5:30p at either you should be good.

Give yourself an hour plus extra time just in case.
If you plan on seeing all the characters at Tusker plan on 1 hr at least.

What about Yak and Yeti quick service or the QS in Pandora? I would not book any table service for 6. It just seems to easy to get behind and I would not want to rush through dinner just to get to FOP by the end of the window. I think 5:30 is the latest I would go. What time is your lunch?

If you get to Tiffins slightly early, you should be ok. Your FP would be good till 7:50 plus a few minutes. You just need to get through the first turnstile and scan your band before 7:50. FoP is a very short walk from Tiffins. I would let your server know your time restrictions.

If you are eating lunch at Sanaa, do you really want another TS meal? If not, the QS in Pandora (Satul'i Canteen) is excellent. Are you on the dining plan? If not, you can also just go to Nomad Lounge, order apps off of their menu and even order off the Tiffins menu without an ADR.

Otherwise, I would probably go with TH or Y&Y and allow 90 minutes just to be safe which puts you around 5:30 pm. If you don't want to make a Y&Y ADR and be tied to a reservation, I highly recommend getting the Landry's Select Card which will get you priority seating over people with reservation whenever you show up. The card is good for Y&Y, Rainforest Cafe and TRex.

Thanks All for these suggestions. To answer your questions- our Sanaa is at 11:30 because I’m hoping for a window table. I had thought about counter service here, but I wasn’t sure how crowded/annoying the crowds would be at the quick service on this 8-10 crowd week!

Another question- we are staying at ASMusic. Should we drive ourselves to AK, to AkL and back? Or do the Disney transportation?

We are hoping to use mobile ordering for most QS locations. Not sure how it is going since they started allowing the dining plan through mobile.

I would probably drive to AK then take the bus to lunch and back.
