We stayed at Royal Pacific last Thursday to Sunday. I believe only Harry Potter is open an hour early at IOA. Nothing else was open and we were guided through the right side of the park through Suess Landing and the Lost Continent to get to Harry Potter. We left the resort about 7:50 and there were tons of resort guests already on their way in when we arrived. They recommended we take the walking path which is supposed to be only 8 min. It is a nice walk, but I would leave earlier maybe 7:30.
Definitely take advantage of early entry to Harry Potter. I believe that weekend shouldn't be super crowded as alot of Thanksgiving guests would have left by then. We were out of Harry Potter just after 9:00am and did the rest of IOA and a lot of US the same day. The next morning we arrived at US at 9:00am some of our group did Rip ride Rockit as a walk on no wait, disaster and twister were closed. We did the mummy twice, after the first time we asked to go again and they let us walk through the child swap area. There were only the 3 of us in the ride vehicle. We did Simpsons (not me) then ET, then did disaster and Twister and left US at noon. We had done the rest of the rides we wanted to the day before including rip ride rockit and mummy.
We used our express passes for staying at hotels where we needed to, but it was mostly uncrowded. Most of the guests were at Harry Potter.
