Timing - help!

I called DFTW today to schedule my wedding for 8/16/07, but they only have 10am and noon available that day. I wanted 2:30pm so that we could go to dinner right after the ceremony (we're having an Intimate).

The plan was to take pictures, get married at the WP and then have dinner with everyone at Chef Mickey's at 5pm.

I really don't want to switch the date, so I'm debating having the ceremony at noon and then taking our pictures after the ceremony.

If the ceremony starts at 12:00pm and lasts an hour and a half (including the little reception, or so I'm told), we'll be done by 1:30. Then we would have Randy Chapman until 3pm to take pictures. What do we do between 3:00 and 5:00pm???

You could go to different resorts so that fami9ly can take their own pics of you guys, that way they may not have to order as many because they will have their own......just a suggestion

I was going to say use your limo to ride around disney and take some cool pictures of you in your wedding attire, so I guess kinda the same as the last post.

Any chance you could move dinner up, or does Chef Mickey's only do dinner? We ran into a similar problem: we're doing an intimate and they only had noon available. I wanted all of us to go out to eat for the "reception" but had to do a lot of searching to find someplace open for lunch (someplace nice).

Ultimately, we're getting married at the Yacht Club, having the limo drop us off somewhere to take more pics with Randy (I've heard the Grand Floridian and Polynesian are nice), have the limo go back and take everyone to the Portabella Yacht Club at DD, then pick us back up and meet everyone else. We'll have lunch around 2 or so, then have the evening to ourselves.

Good luck with whatever you decide! Oh, and I'm going to ask Randy to show up a little early to take "getting ready" pictures at the resort. I'm going to squeeze every last minute out of him; lol!
