We will be doing MVMCP for the 1st time this year :) . We have also never tried LTT, so I want to that on the same night, but before the party, not duing (if that is even possible). We're pretty much into early eating and then grazing until the next meal.

I am not familiar with how MVMCP works. If you are already in MK, do you have to get a wrist band like for EMH? I am just trying to get a plan in my head, and if that is the case, do not want to get involved in a long line to get the wristband.

I am thinking we will try maybe a 5 or 5:15 seating at LTT, and then get wrist bands if we need to after that. Will that work well do you think? I am totally open to suggestions.

Thanks so much!

They start doing the wristbands at the turnstyles after 4:00p so if you enter 4:00p or later, you can get your wristband there.

If you are already in the park, they will also exchange your tickets for wristbands after about 6:00p in front of the castle and also near city hall.

I usually eat around 5:00p - 5:30p so that we're done right before the party starts.

One year we were able to exchange our tickets right in the restaurant by our waitress. You could ask them and see if they can do it. Don't know if they still do it or not.

Thanks so much! I called and 4:20 was the latest ressie I could get, so looks like we will be done in plenty of time. A little earlier than I wanted, but hey, we'll take what we can get!

Hi Michelle,

I was going to suggest 4:30 so I think the ressie you have is great. We had dinner at 4:30 last year and were out before 6pm- just in time for the first fireworks and to get our bands.

Enjoy!

Oh, cool! I did not realize there were early fireworks! I will have to do a little more reading up on this -- it was kind of an impulsive plan.

Thanks!

Last year was the first time they tried doing Wishes at 6:00p and then the Christmas fireworks at 9:30p however, this year they (the 6:00p) aren't on the December schedule. So we'll see if they do that again.

A CM gave us the wrong info about when we could book dining for MVMCP -
in fact I had to be insistent with the CM who finally booked us. She said she learned something new from me(this is our first Christmas at WDW), so by the time I got it right the earliest dining was at 6:00 at LTT. Is that an awful time? I don't want to miss anything

Well, it's not the best time but it's not the worst either. I would arrive early in hopes of either getting seated a little early or at least on time. If you are seated on time then you should be done right around 7:00p. You won't miss much if anything.

Oh and Disney was only releasing ADRs for LTT after 6:00p before the 180 mark. Once the 180 mark came, the earlier ADRs would open up. This was something new this year.

Twice we have had ADR's at LLT at 06:00. This actually works out great. We enter the park at 04:30 on our MVMCP tickets only. Mess around a little then head over to LTT to eat. While dining they come by and give you the wrist band. One year they took our ticket at the restaurant, the next year they gave us the wrist band when we entered the park at 04:30 if I can remember correctly. We did miss the first parade while we walked around but that was by design. Lots of folks with small kids leave after the first parade and the parks is pretty thinned out by the second. We are doing the same this year on Nov. 27th which is a DVC discount day so we will pick up our tickets at the willcall window at MK. Whats funny is that the first time, my battery on the cam-corder went out and we used this as an excuse to come back. Well the last time(2 yrs ago) as we entered the park I turned to my wife and ask for the camara. She looked at me funny and said "I thought you had it". Yep, we had left it at the resort. Well now we have an excuse to go back this third time and I am wondering what we will forget to give us yet another excuse to go again:rotfl2:...smjj

in my opinion, the earlier the better. In dec 2006, We ate at 430. By thge time we were done, we had time to walk over to the hub and stake out a spot in front of Walt and mickey and watched the first fireworks. Not sure about this year and fireworks. They are still only listing Christmas Wishes but that would still leave plenty of time to do otherstuff. Thats what we are doing this year

Yes my original ADR for LTT was at 6pm. I booked when I bought the tickets, then when my 180 days opened up, I changed it to 5pm.

It's funny that I should find this thread today.

Just this morning I booked my LTT ADR for 5:05pm on the night we're doing MVMCP!! I can't wait!! :cool1:

We're doing the MVMCP on 11/27 as well. I called and got a 4:10pm for LTT.
A little earlier than we'd normally eat dinner, but oh well! That just means more snacking later:thumbsup2
