Timing for Spectromagic and THEN dinner - is this possible?

I'm planning a late evening ADR (possible 9:30 or 9:45pm) for Boma. Would it be possible to watch Spectromagic (and Wishes - or is that pushing it?) and then get to my ADR at Boma on time? Although the November hours are not out yet, I'm am hoping to make the ADR for Saturday, November 15 (as the parade always seems to run on a Saturday evening).

Can't miss my Spectromagic!!!!!

Is this possible?

Hmmm ... will you have a car? Depending on WDW buses could make it a stretch, I think. AKL takes about 20-25 minutes to get to and that's if the bus comes immediately.

We have several times now made 9:30 adrs at various monorail restaurants - CM more than most and we walk to CR - and made it, no problem.

Depends on what time Wishes and Spectro are at. If they are early like in December shouldn't have a problem. You could always make two reservations and cancel one if it doesn't work.

Hi - no we won't have a car. I guess we could always get a taxi - I wonder how costly that is! Spectromagic (if it's like every other November) starts at 8pm. If we park ourselves in the square where it comes out, we should be okay, don't you think? I can't for the life of me remember how long the parade takes . Perhaps Wishes is out

If you are at the beginning of the route, max 15-20 minutes then you could head toward the exit and "beat" the parade before it gets to main street and then bolt to the bus stop. You might make it if you don't stay for Wishes(if Wishes is after the parade). I would make the ADR for lastest time you can though so you don't risk not making it.

I may be wrong, but I think that to get a taxi from the Magic Kingdom one would have to first get to a resort, or to the TTC. I can't remember ever seeing cabs anywhere near the gate or bus area.

Yes, that is correct. The MK taxi stand is at the TTC or you could walk/monorail to CR or monorail to one of the others but CR is the easiest resort to get to.

It took us 1 1/2 hrs to get to Boma's last year from MK and this was in the afternoon, nothing to do with Spectomagic crowd. This was taking a bus to AKL. It was crazy. We missed our reservation, but they seated us after others told the desk how long it took the bus to get us there.
