We're staying at the WL and would like to have dinner at Trail's End and then go to the campfire/movie in August. It looks like the campfire will begin at 8pm.

1-Is this correct information?
2-What do we need to arrive at the campfire to find seats?
3-Also, where is it in relation to Trail's End? How long a walk?
4-What is the wait like at Trail's End (on average) with a reservation and how long should be plan to actually eat an enjoyable meal?

Thanks!

Hi!

1. Yes

2. You should plan on arriving about 1/2 hour early if you want good seats on the wood benches closer to the front. If you're ok with sitting on the metal bleachers in the back, then you can get there 15 minutes before. A warning...if you sit on the bleachers, you'll have lots of people walking in front of you on the loud rocks! It's very distracting if you actually want to watch the movie.

3. It's about a 15-minute walk from the Trail's End. Or you can wait for a bus. We usually walk.

4. If you have a reservation, you should get in right away. Give yourself an hour if you take your time eating.

I hope you have a great time! It's a nice relaxing way to spend an evening away from the parks! :)
