Do folks think 7:30 is enough time to comfortably eat at Capt. Cook’s and get to MK before a 9 am ripe drop?

I don’t need to see the castle show, but would like to not have to rush down Main Street. I just need my bf to experience Tonga Toast.

Welllllll...I think it's doable but would rather sit down at 7:00 AM and be finished by 7:30- 7:45 AM to be on the safe side of the worrywort that is me, LOL.
Capt Cook's is open 24/7 but prolly doesn't serving hot food until about around 7:00 AM.
You'll have enough time to either walk to TTC from Capt Cook's and then catch the express monorail to MK or jump on the boat to MK at either TTC or the end of the marina @ Poly. Boats start running 1/2 hour before park opening but I d/k what time the monorail runs in the morning.

I’m normally a worrier too, so I’d like to skew earlier as well. Just don’t know about getting my bf up that early.

Also, Is there a reason to not grab the resort monorail vs. walking to TTC and catching the express?

The express is one stop from TTC to MK; the local is....local :teeth:. It's going to have more anxious people and strollers accumulating and jockeying to be next to a door upon exit at the MK terminus. I witness this type of behavior on a regular in NYC although I must say WDW has a better control on it than most cities.
You are still going to get to your destination which ever way you opt to go:).

I agree i would try to get there a but earlier not o my to make sure you have enough time but other guests will be flowing in to eat and rush to the parks
Walk to the ttc it's a nice walk and it's must easier than changing monorail once you get to the ttc
