I'm ready to call and book BBB for DGD. What time of day is a good target time for this?

Should I aim for just before lunch? Does that give us adequate time to get in some rides, etc? We will be taking advantage of early entry.

We are doing the entire package, dress and all, so she can get the Presentation to the Princess part. Anyone have any ideas about how long it takes?

That's tough on an early-entry day. We usually use it as a way to get in early.

I think on an EMH day, I'd probably go with right before lunch as you are planning.

Thanks.
Since we are staying on site all of our days are EE days. At different parks but we'll have hoppers and I suspect will go back on forth every day but we'll start each day in the EE park.
We have 5 day tickets so hopefully, even if we loose some time for activities like dining or BBB we'll still find time to do all we want.

FYI - If she's interested in an Anna or Elsa makeover you can take advantage of the early hour at the A&E boutique in DD when staying onsite! :)

We are doing that too. On the day we go home.

Aloha,

For DLR, what worked best for my daughter was a late afternoon BBB appointment followed by a reserved dinner with the Princess' at Ariel's at DCA. Did the BBB, followed by taking pictures by the castle and other spots, worked our way towards pictures at the studio then crossed over to DCA for dinner at Ariel's. She was treated like a royal princess that she was for the entire adventure!

Of course, we started the day at RD and took a nice nap after lunch. So she and the family was nice and fresh for BBB, the picture safari and dinner at Ariel's.

We did the BBB princess castle package (full works), and our appt was for 11:20 am I think. It took about an hour and 15 min total for the makeover, pictures and meeting the princesses. We would have preferred an earlier appt in the morning, because it cut into lunch time and we had to rush to eat at 11 am since I knew LO would be starving by 1 pm... It was good though, since she got to enjoy the outfit and makeup the rest of the day. We did fantasmic that night. If we did it again, I would do it around 10 am or so, after a lesiurely breakfast. She really enjoyed wearing the dress around the park.

Just a note that Ariel's doesn't have princesses at dinner anymore (as far as I have read), you can still have dinner there and I'm sure she would be treated as a princess, but you wouldn't meet the other princesses.

We did ours as soon as BBB opened, just before 9am on a 8am EE day. We got to do a few rides and then get the makeovers. It was quite good as there was really no-one else around and so they got the place to themselves to begin with. When they came out of their photo shoot it was much more crowded. We then went to Royal Hall to meet the princesses, a few photo stops and then over for lunch at Ariel's grotto. It meant the girls got to wear their princess look all day ( although by the end of the day they were very glad to get out of it!!!).

I think a just before lunch time time would work well as well - time for lots of rides first but still lots of time to enjoy being a princess after!

I have found early to be better so she can enjoy it all day. If you go about 10:30 you will have 2.5 hours for rides and still be done right before lunch.

Thanks all. I am aware they no longer do a character dinner but thanks for the mention just in case.
I had decided to book it about 10:45, 11:00.
Now if they'd just upload the dates. I called and the CM said there is a "glitch" and they haven't gotten the upload. I need to call back and see if they have gotten it yet. I know it's not as critical to book at exactly 60 days out but I do want to get it nailed down so I can get our meal set
