We have PS at 1900 Park Fare at 4:30 p.m. We will be in the MK beforehand. What time do we get on the monorail, do you think?

3:45...you'll prob. be a little early, but it's better to be early than late.

I'd say to be safe, get to the monorail by about 3:50pm or by 4pm at the latest. I wouldn't think there would be too long of a monorail line at that time (unless it just started raining.) Once you are on the monorail, it won't take long at all to get the GF. They say you should get to your PS about 10-15 minutes ahead of time, but 4:30pm is a pretty early reservation, so it shouldn't be very crowded then.

I'd agree with getting the monorail station by 3:45. Grand Floridian would be the last stop around from the Magic Kingdom on the resort monorail. You'll stop first at the Contemporary, then TTC, then Poly, then Grand Floridian.

Unless you really want to take the monorail, you could instead take the launch (boat) from the Magic Kingdom directly to the Grand Floridian. Its a nice ride too.

Either are great options, heck, you're at DisneyWorld!

I would walk out of the MK and take the boat - you can see if its coming and if not you could choose the monorail - but GF is the first stop for the boat (it then goes on to the Poly) and its a nice ride!
