Timeshares near Disney

Next year, we are going to be going to Disney for about 10 days. Prior to that, we would like to stay in the Orlando area to do some shopping, etc. for maybe 3-4 days. I am trying to find a deal where we do a timeshare presentation/tour in exchange for a really cheap deal on a resort in the area.

Does anyone know of decent ones that are legit in the area? Has anyone ever done one, and if so what were your experiences like?

there are lots of them Marriott, Hilton Sheraton Vistana offer them. try their websites. also when you are down there, you will see these roadside booths set up offering discount disney tickets. All of them have timeshare presentations for you to do and then they give you free disney tickets or universal or SeaWorld etc.. it's 90 minutes of a tour and then they try to get you to buy. just say "no"

Keep in mind that most timeshare tours will include a stay at a mid-grade, plain hotel or motel. They rarely put you up in a resort or timeshare condo. They want to maximize the "wow factor" when touring the resort. If you're looking for a resort stay, you may opt to rent from an owner or make certain that you will be in a 1BR timeshare suite or larger.
