Don't buy a timeshare in Orlando.
One exception is DVC - they have increased in value - and they are on property.
all the other timeshares in Orlando have decreased - from 30% to 70% from what the developers will sale you
Orlando timeshare are very easy to trade into - just about any timeshare brought somewhere else will trade into Orlando.
this is also true of Williamsburg, Branson and some other place that I can't remember
If you want to buy a timeshare do your research first
www.tug2.net
these people know about timeshares
now if you still want an Orlando timeshare that is not DVC
here is my list of the best
Disney Vacation club - there are 4 they are building a 5th in the WDW area
Marriott - there are quiet few and have a 21 day advantage (there are 6 in the area)
Hilton - beautiful (there are two in the area)
Orange Lake - only one - but very, very big
Oasis lakes - haven't stay there but a top choice of tuggers
Embassy - aagin I haven't stay there but a top choice of tuggers
Cypress Point - same as above
everything is one the resale market and is much better deal.
the only exception is the Marriott points system - you must buy from Marriott to get this - but even they have a second market these days.
below is a list of resalers - most DVC - but I can find others if someone else wants one not listed.

I have personally done business with Shontell - she posts here mostly on the DVC board.
oh some of the resorts will point out there 1 in 4 rule - you can only trade every 4 year to that resort - but hey there are some many wonderful timeshare in Orlando that you can experience - that is not a problem
