Timeshares At Orlando

My dh boss offered to get him a timeshare at Orlando, but he did'nt give any details. Does anyone know where these are located or as anyone stayed at one?

A number of different resorts in Orlando have timeshare options - Marriott have several, even Disney have timeshare (it's called DVC).

You would need to get more details of where the timeshare is for anyone to help you further.

Sharon you will definately need more details ,there are more Timeshares than you can shake a stick at & more getting built every year! The main Marriott ones are on the right (from WDW) near Seaworld,Vistana have 2 quite close together..just Google Orlando timeshare to get a fuller list. Of course there is also DVC the main difference being in a "normal" Timeshare you buy a deed that is yours forever but DVC you buy points that last 50 years from when the Resort opened irrespective of when you buy into it-basically you pre-pay your accommodation for 50 years.

Some of the fees involved with timeshares make them more costly than their worth, some places have annual fees of around $900 a year! we have stayed at quite a few places in Orlando and only had good things to say about them all, you would really need to know where it is.

Thanks for the replies. We decided to stay at Pop & RPR, it's just with DH's boss mentioning it that I thought we might reconsider, but it's difficult getting the info.
