Timeshare

We are looking at using timeshare for part of our trip. Our exchange company is one here in Australia called Interchange. Any suggestions as to when we should put in our request to the exchange company? We are staying at AKL 12-19 September and then will be looking to use the timeshare 25September-8October.

We always put in our request as soon as we know our dates (usually a year in advance)...it doesn't seem like it will be a problem for you since most kids are in school then, but I would still go ahead and do it now. Good luck.

I'm not familiar with Interchange but looking at their website, they seem to be quite specialized and rather limited to Australian resorts. Are you certain that you'll be able to secure a trade through them to a Florida resort near WDW? Is Interchange associated with any other international external exchange company?

I don't mind answering. I'm suprised I didn't say, I love talking about it. We are doing a 7 night DCL Western Carribean Cruise. I'm so excited.

I think we've decided to save the timeshare and use it here in Australia. Its going to be too hard to get a decent exchange (or one we're happy with). Next time we will bank our time with a different company, one that has more international resorts.

I think we will probably go back to Windsor Hills. We loved it there last time and always felt a bit disapointed that we weren't going back. Of course this time it will be something smaller, two or three bedrooms, depending on price.
