We didn't like this:
My husband was sitting in the lobby of the Beach Club, by the big red Christmas tree, waiting for me.
He was approached by a DVC salesman.
And he was a pushy salesman too!
I showed up and hubby started to leave.
The salesman said,
'You'll be getting approached like this a lot so be ready."

We didn't hang around on the property long enough for it to happen again.

I really don't think this should happen at a Disney Resort.

This is, as far as I know, not normal and contrary to policy as DVC sales reps at resorts have booths and they do not approach guests who do not first approach them. Unfortunately, not getting his name minimizes the ability to make a complaint.

I have to say that I've been past the DVC kiosks and desks literally dozens of times and never experienced anything like that.

In fact, they seem to be just the opposite....you have to make eye contact and start talking before they seem to pay attention to you!

I even found the DVC sales office personnel to be pretty laid back. Very willing to show me models knowing I had already bought and wasn't looking to add on.

montessori...I'll bet you could go to WDW 39 more times and not run into another bozo like that salesman! :)

Sorry to hear.Completely the exception and not normal.Wouldn't think he would have a job for long.
