Ok, we're planning a big trip with family and are looking at exchanging our Vegas timeshare into an Orlando one. We're very familiar with DVC resorts but are curious what offsite timeshare condos folks recommend. Any suggestions guys (and girls)?

For some help, we'll have cars so transportation isn't a concern. It'll be 2 two and a half year olds, 8 adults 30-60, a 7 year old, and a 19 year old. Whew broad spectrum I know.

Thanks for all your help!

www.tug2.net is the best site for all things timeshare. The forums are free, but if you pay a very modest annual fee, you have access to hundreds of reviews from members. I never book a unit without checking them first.

We like Cypress Pointe. It's not the biggest or the fanciest, but it has a good location (very near the Downtown Disney gate) and a low point value at RCI. CP doesn't have tons of amenities like some of the other resorts, but if you're mostly going to be out and about, with a little bit of pool time inbetween, it works.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek
Hilton Grand Vacation Club
SHeraton Vistana Resort
Cypress Pointe
Vacation Villa @ parkway
Sheraton Vistana Village
Fountains

now staying next dec at Grand Beach - but it gets mixed reviews.

Thanks everyone for the tips. We're II members and are bummed about losing Disney exchanges. We've been looking hard at Cypress Pointe actually.
