Me and my family will be coming to Florida or more specifically Kissimmee. We will be doing all the ususal stuff, Universal and IOA aswell as Busch Gardens and Disney.

I asked on the Disney side what will the queues and weather be like between September 28th until October 13th, so that is the same question the you lot :goodvibes ??

Also i was wondering how long the queue would be for Harry Potter, the rides and shops? I went 2 years ago when it had just opened and it was a 7 HOUR WAIT to get into Harry Potter LAND!! not the rides, just the land so i would hope its quieter now?

Thanks, Adam

You're traveling during a slower period so the lines will be no where near what they were two years ago. Try to get to the parks early and be ready to spend the entire day. It's hard if not impossible to guess on the wait times so it's anyone's guess.

Even though you're travelling during a slow period it's still during hurricane season so tropical weather is highly possible and with tropical weather comes lots of humidity so be ready for anything in terms of temperatures.

weather is so unpredictable.

i have gone in that general time period you listed for the past 8 years.

most of the time the weather has been ideal to what i enjoy.

crowds can vary depending on the day.
weekends generally have more in the parks then.

come prepared for chance of rain.
bring a poncho or wear kwi-dry clothing.

Thanks for the replies, i understand the weather will be HOT but i was wondering how much of a chance is there of rain that time of year? 50%? Or more or less?

I hope HP isnt as busy 7 hours was a bit of a joke, and to get on FJ it took 4 hours as they had to shut it haha so i hope it will be smoother this time.

I have kept a keen eye on minion mayhem and hope it should be open by then, if it has been open for a month or two, would the line be expected to be huge as its new?

Cheers.

i have found that when a new ride/attraction opens, it stays busy for quite a few months or longer.
i'm going around the time period you are and am assuming it won't be a short line.

i too am looking forward to the new minionion opening!

Your guess is as good as mine and I live here. We are getting tropical systems in Florida during that time and it just depends on if a system is in the area as to whether we have rain. I can't tell you what the chance of rain is for that time of year because we (locals) don't know ourselves since it will change if a tropical system is heading for Orlando.

I assumed it would be busy for a few months at least and with all the build up its been given, are we expecting it to be open by October? I would like to know if it will be a close replica of the Jimmy Neutron ride its replacing or if its something majorly different?

Im hopefull the HP land and FJ ride will be alot quieter haha this time i might get to visit more shops and enjoy the scenery!

I no we cant predict the weather, just fingers crossed for a good 2 weeks.
