Ok, we finally almost have all of our days' FPs booked, and now have a good idea of what we want to to at rope drop. Can someone give me some advice of what time it would be recommended to be in the parking lot to do rope drop assuming a 9:00 park opening and what we want to RD? Many thanks in advance.

Day 1 MK -we have a PPO BOG at 8:15 so we're planning on being in the parking lot by 7:00
Day 2 MK - planning on Splash/Jungle Cruise for RD
Day 3 EP - Frozen
Day 4 HS - RNR
Day 5 AK - Everest

day 1 that is a good plan. It should give you some time to snap some mostly empty park pictures on the way. Also don't forget they will start running 7 dwarfs mine train a little before 9 so if you can be over there by about 850 you can get a ride or 2 in before the masses get there. then jump in Peter pan right at 9am and now you have 2 rides with hour+ waits already done. onyl leaves you like 30 minutes to eat though :(

Day 2 For MK i usually recommend being in the parking lot 90 minutes before park opening. Also remember that the welcome show has moved to the castle stage so you can use the extra time to get some pictures on main street. grab some breakfast and be ready to go as soon as the rope drops. Personally i would head back and do Splash and BTMRR then head over to pirates and Jungle

Day 3 EP I would plan to be in the parking lot around around 8. It will be faster to do the short walk in to bag check and try to be in the turnstile lines by 830am. Not sure what your fastpass is here but if not Frozen ever after i would definitely head there first. It is still posting huge waits. Test track also has single rider line if that works for your group.

Day 4 HS again about 60 minutes prior should be good. I usually fastpass TSMM and then head for Rockin followed by ToT unless we have a Jedi to sign up then that takes priority

Day 5 60 minutes prior should be good. Yes everest would be my rope drop if you already have safari fastpasses. Most people will head to the left for africa for safari and lion king show. Might also consider getting your rapids ride in while you are there

Have a great trip!!!

For RD I'd want to be at the front entrance 60 min prior to the scheduled park opening time. For MK, throw on an additional 30 min to arrive there because their transportation across the lagoon can be a pain.

Thanks for the info. Our plan for day 1 was exactly that except we will probably sub pooh for Peter Pan. We have FPs for pan, Cinderella, and belle. Day 2 our FPs are BTMR, space, and 7DMT. My thought was to RD splash and then either go right over to jungle and pirates or do SDFP for them.

For Epcot, I was not able to get frozen even with being on right at 7 for our 30 days so I have soarin. Our plan is to go right to the rope at Mexico as quickly as possible after they start letting us in. My only concern here is with frozen being down first thing. Are they getting any better with the mechanical issues?

HS we have TSMM for FP so we're good there. We're actually splitting up the family that day because DD is too short to ride. For AK I'm shooting for safari FP hence the Everest RD.

There's no rope at Mexico. Once the park opens, Norway is fully open. So once you're in you'll head straight to Frozen.

We did this a few weeks ago and walked leisurely at opening. Got on with a 20 min wait and the ride did not go down for maintenance
