Times Swuare hotel please

I second the Hilton 42nd St for a fantastic location.
Even had free breakfast from being HH gold members, we didn't expect that.

We have also stayed at the Crowne Plaza(above the M and M store) and would highly recommend.

Thanks for your help everyone. I've taken your advice. We are waiting to go in the next couple of weeks.

Another vote for the Doubletree Suites Times Square. Fantastic location, with the TKTS booth directly across from the entrance, and right next door to a major subway station. All of the rooms are suites, and have a living room with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom (with a door in between.) Check-in and the lobby are on the third floor, and you have to show ID to get in the elevators to get to them, so it’s quite secure. It’s within walking distance to all theaters, and the subway can get you anywhere else in town. We got a great rate of $160 just before Thanksgiving from Hotels.com.

We stayed at the Marriott Marquis a few years ago when we saw Hamilton (literally next door) and had a nice time. The hotel was so beautiful and a good location. We had a slight view of Times Square, didn't pay any extra. However if you're only using the subway it may be worth finding a hotel closer to a station. It was such a pain to lug our bags from the closest subway station to the hotel.
