Hey!:wave2:
I am new to Disney, seeing as this is our first trip...we are staying at the cabins. We are a grand gathering, my family of five, my daughters family of 3, and my mom and dad. We chose the cabins because we camp from March-Sep on weekends here in North Alabama and my dad just had a stroke. We thought it would make him feel more "at home". He will probably just fish all day. :thumbsup2
Anyway, we have a fireworks cruise scheduled for 5/2, but I see that is the only day they are having a Spectro during the 2 days we are touring MK. So I could swap days for the cruise, but I would need to know how long it takes to get back to the fort from MK? We wouldnt be leaving at closing but well before. We have dinner ressies @ Ohanas at 5pm. Is it feasible that we could eat, and be back to MK to catch the boat back to FW and be @ the FW Marina before 8pm? ;)
TIA!!
(This Disney planning is harder than I thought!)

The boat ride itself is only about 10-12 minutes. Waiting for the boat should be less than 20 minutes, unless there is enough of a line to fill the boat before you get on! Shouldn't be a problem unless you leave right after the 3:00 parade or near closing. Once you get off the boat at FW there is a 1/4 mile walk to get to the bus stop for the internal transportation back to your cabin. You may have to wait as much as 15 mins for a bus and the ride itself should be less than 10 minutes. HIH

That should be no problem, really. You are eating at Ohanna's right at opening for dinner, and since they just start bringing food to your table instead of ordering, you should be finished with dinner by 6:00, 6:30 at the latest.

Take a quick monorail to the Magic Kingdom (5 minute wait, 5-7 minute ride), that's 7pm at the latest. Then at max a 20 minute wait for the boat back to the Fort, then a 10 minute ride over to the Fort.

Thanks! I am going to change our cruise reservation then. That way we can see the Spectro parade and leave before the fireworks that night since we will have seen them the night before on the cruise. All is good in planning land! Wow, am I excited! :cool1:
Again, thanks!
