Times for Haunted Hayrides?

Hi everyone! I just found the new info. for the Haunted Hayrides at Fort Wilderness for this year, but it doesn't give exact times for the 6 hayrides. Does anyone know or have an idea about what they did the past years? I know it says it depends on the sunset, etc...but around what time will this most likely be? Here's the info. I found on the site.

Roam the woods of Fort Wilderness in your Haunted Wagon with a "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" theme.

Price:

$15.00 + tax for ages 10 and up

$10.00 + tax for ages 3 - 9

10/13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31

Tickets will be sold on a first come first come basis at the Ft. Wilderness Kennel from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the date of the Hayride. When the day's allotment is sold out, a sign will be posted in the Parking Lot.

There will be 6 hayrides each evening. Depending on the time of sunset, Wishes, etc. the times will vary.

We did the Haunted Hayride a few years ago, and I can't recommend it enough! We LOVED it!!!

I think we got there close to 7?? The first ride was sold out so we got tix for the next one, had dinner at Trail's End, and boarded the haywagon maybe...8:15??Sorry I can't remember times better.

They do wait til heavy dusk - at least that was the ride we missed.

This event, for me, is a best kept "secret". It is possible that I enjoyed it as much as, or even more than, MNSSHP!!!

so if you don't purchase your ticket before 5:00 on the day you are interested in riding, does that mean you just ask the driver?

Ie: I want to do a later evening ride but won't have time to get to Fort Wilderness before 5:00, where would I purchase a ticket do you suppose? Or would it just be sold out at that point anyway?

Can you describe the ride a bit? Is it just a hayride through the darkness? Do they read a story? Any scary scenes along the way?

no, this is open to anyone who wants to do it, no need to be staying there.
