Times discount offers are announced?

I recently read an article (I think it was part of a blog or newsletter) where they talked about typical times of the year that certain discount offers are advertised. For the life of me I can't find it again. Did anyone else read it or know where information like this is?

I myself am waiting for any additional discounts that may become available for December stays (for the weeks without free dining; ) one cast member I spoke with said to look out for them in early August
