Timeline taking train from DLP to Paris........

I am thinking of taking a tour to the Champagne Region. One of the Tours leaves Paris at 8:00 a.m. in the morning!

How long would it take to get to Paris from DLH by train? Would it be better to hire a car to take us to our destination to meet the bus?

Can anyone recommend a tour? As I have looked at two, one with BS that you have use of their car for the day but you have to make all of your own arrangements. The other is where they take care of everything for you.

I am so confured! Help!

About 40 minutes on the train into Paris then you will have to get the underground to where you need to be to meet the bus. I have you checked out the SNCF website? They have a English option with a route planner which should give you a better impression with the tube ride included.

I was hoping to avoid that at this point and time.

Since the one tour you have to meet them at 8:00 a.m. probably gonna hire a car to get us there!

where does the tour pick up? one of the major sightseeing companies is at Auber station, which is on the same RER line as DLRP and takes 40 minutes. If it leaves from there, it's VERY convenient. Just be aware that with Paris traffic a car service or taxi can become very expensive very quickly.
