Timed Out!

When repyling to a post...
How long do you have until you "Time out"?

It tells you how long you have to wait to post again if you post too fast. I believe it is in the 49- 60 second range.

I don't know how long time out is, but if you're having problems why not compose the message in MS Word and then copy and paste it over?

This is a new one for me. I have never been "timed out". What is this?

The "time out" happens to me frequently. Good idea, debkorb1. I'll try that next time.

My "time out" occurs when I am posting a reply. If it takes me longer than 2 minutes to type my reply, I get sent back to the log-in screen again when I hit either the Preview Reply or Submit Reply button. All my typing is gone and I have to re-type my reply.

I don't know what is wrong especially when I view some posts that are really long. Maybe I have a computer setting not properly set.

I have never seen a time out but I have had other bad things happen such as accidentally kick the power cord of my PC and everything of course shuts down, losing all my typing.

So I type just part of my post or reply (10 to 15 lines max), submit it, then click the edit button to add more text.
