Looking at booking indirect from Manchester to MCO, how long do I need to give between flights??

I like to have 2 hours, then any delays or slow immigration you have plenty of time usually. We went out to Vegas/LA in Oct, we had 90 mins in Chicago, thought we were pushing it a bit, actually did it in 60 mins exactly from landing to departure gate other side of airport. Although it helps we have been thru Chicago a few times.

Where would you be connecting - the travel agent told me that the legal minimum is 20 minutes but I wouldn't fancy my chances

Leave yourself at least an hour - especially more if you are going through immigration at a US hub such as Philly etc.

Chicago and there's just over 2hrs in between flights , but then again we've never done this before so we may be pushing it

In my experience you'll probably be OK but as for the bags.
I hope this is coming home.

Unfortunately it's going out and coming back - it was the only way I could really get a reasonable flight! Now your making me nervous

Are you checked thru or checking in again.

Too many experiences of me making tight connections but not the luggage via LHR, especially if its checked thru and there is a change of terminal.
Don't bother now on the way back just get it sent via taxi back home, going there is a bit different.

You probably have a better chance if you check in again and take the luggage yourself.

Best pack some underwear and teeshirt for the other end
