Is it just me or does it affect you as well.

The closer it gets to our trip the slower each day goes by. Until the day of the trip then nature puts time in to warp speed and its over that fast

Yes! I know EXACTLY what you mean! We're leaving tomorrow for a 2 week trip! Can't wait, but I have all kinds of work that needs to get done before I leave.. Been counting the days down from 100.. Now we leave tomorrow and I know in no time it'll be done and I'll be back.. Just got to make the most of the time there.. Enjoy your trip!

Hey yellow xterra, we're going to be at the Fort around the same time again this year. We're leaving in 20 days. And yes, it feels like the days are DRAGGING!

Hopefully it won't be brutally hot again this year like it was last year.

Are you requesting the same site? I seem to remember you were close to the marina last year.

We usually come down thru Atlanta however this trip I am dropping off the wife in Huntsville AL so I am gonna take a different route. I 65 to US 231 and then I 10 to I 75. I will arrive at the Fort on the 24th. For 10 days. We will come back up I 75 thru Hotlanta I am gonna ask for 100 or 200 loop again. We don't do the pool and like being able to walk to the boats and outpost.

Wife is flying to California for 3 days and then meeting up with me at the Fort.

If you feel like time is dragging then you can stop by the house as you drive south of Birmingham and mow my back yard. I'll even leave the mower and gas can out back.

And make sure you get up close by the fence this time!

I started to really get in the Disney mood by listening to Sorcer Radio on my drive to work. It's finally feeling like we're getting near out trip.

A week out is the time that puts our trip in the "yay we're nearly there" feeling.

We head out on the 21st but its gonna take me till the 24th to get there. Taking the scenic route Gonna ask for the 100 or 200 loop again. No longer have a pop up or Nissan. I have a Gulf Breeze Sport with a Nave Logo across the back. Holler if ya see us.

Well if everything goes as planned we will be in the 900 loop until the mornin of the 28th. So look for Mighty Mouse or the Fort Wilderness golf cart both are hard to miss.
