Time Warner Cable's Double or Triple Play

I got a call the other night that if I switch to their Double Play or Triple Play I can save "big" $$$. Sure. I see that it's $33 per "item" for the first year...doesn anyone have this that can tell me what it is after the first year?

I signed up for a 2 year contract and I am paying $114.95/month for the "Triple Play", about 9 months into my contract the "Triple Play" dropped to $99.95, but I was stuck at the higher rate (not that I care too much, its still cheaper then the $150.00 I was paying prior.

My contract is up in about 3 months, then I'll be dropping our home phone and just going for two services (we never use our home phone). Looking at the current rates offered, it will drop my bill by $30.00 a month to $84.95.

Just so you know - and I KNOW you're young, jlewis - this month's Reader's Digest recommends keeping/having a landline for 911. Emergency services can locate you instantly via the landline when the call connects; not so much with a cell phone

This is the only reason we still waste $30 per month on our land line - that and the security system.


We had Comcrap for a few years because we had no other option and hate them. Worst customer service in the world - literally, based on recent ratings.

So what does Comcrap do? Improve their service? Make positive changes to improve customer/public opinion?

NO!!!

They're going to change their freaking name instead! Coming soon: Xfinity (the crap artist formerly known as Comcast)

So when you start seeing ads for Xfinity do not be fooled! Same old junk in new packaging.
