Time to tour both parks

I know we won't get to see and do it all in USF, but is it realistic to think we'll be able to see most of the major attractions with just one day planned for each park. Will Universal Express help? (remind me, it's for all USF attractions isn't it?)

For example, these are the "must see/do" attractions on our list:

What about multi-day passes? I think if we're fortunate, we could only afford one more day to split between the two. It would mean three more park admissions and another night's lodging (off-site).

Hi, it really depends on whether your trip coincides with a quiet or busy time. At a busy time you have got no chance of seeing it all unless staying on site using FOL. At a quiet time you might just make it. If you can possinby stretch to it I would recommend having another day to catch up on anything you miss first time round and to reride your favourites. Although physically the parks are smaller than some of the Disney there is still a lot of distance to cover, and if busy it is tiring just getting around from ride to ride.
BTW the mummy isn't open yet but I guess you are expecting it will be by the time you go so leaving that out Spiderman is just the best.

I'm sorry. I thought that I included in my original post that we are planning a trip over Thanksgiving week (2004). We plan to arrive Saturday before TG day, go to Sea World Sunday, USF on Monday & Tuesday, then on to WDW Wednesday through Friday, departing Saturday.

(1)Jimmy Neutron in in USF, not IOA.

(2)Going on the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving is safe. The lines wont be long and the parks will mot likely be open till 7 (possibly 6).

(3)Express is available for almost all attractions. There are a few that dont have it. Otherwise it's free. I wouldnt worry about expressing shows (Animal Planet, Sindbad, Nick Studios). Just make sure you get to the show about 15-20 mins prior to showtime. I'd recommend expressing the following: Mummy, Shrek, Spider-Man, Hulk, MIB, Jimmy Neutron.

(4)WDW (and Sea World, and Universal and Busch Gardens) will be PACKED on Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. TG weekend always nets huge crowds and 45+ minute waits.

Thank you Dark Marauder, for the tips. I mixed up the park for Jimmy Neutron and probably never would have noticed until we got to the park

We didn't mind the crowds the Friday after Thanksgiving in 1999, the beginning of the Millennium Celebration at WDW. We were at Epcot (Test Track and World Showcase) in the morning, then DS for the afternoon and evening.

You might want to consider the on line only 5 consecutive day pass for 89 an adult , theres a special through mastercard that if u buy 4 on mastercardyou get the 5th one free. i dont believe they expire. its available now on the universal website. i t would save u alot, use entertainment card discount for on site hotel and u are set. we bought it and paid 11 bucks to have them mailed to our home and got them in 3 days
