Hi,

We have late dinner rotation and I was wondering if there was time between the early show to dress for dinner and drop the kids off at the club?

Thanks!
Gina

We always seemed to have enough time.

A lot of people like to dress up for the shows. Also, there are things going on between the dinner seating and the shows.
Especially having pictures taken!!! Which is every night, not just formal night. There will be characters out as well.

I also enjoyed this time to sit and watch everyone, especially the kids.

Have fun!!

On 7-night Disney Magic cruises, the early show in the Walt Disney Theatre goes from 6:30 p.m. until approx. 7:30 p.m. Late dinner goes from 8:30 p.m. until approx. 10:15 p.m. So, you have about one hour between the show and late dinner. (It's different on the one night when there's a movie.)

There's plenty of time to dress between the show and dinner. However, I prefer to dress before the show... and that has nothing to do with wanting to be "dressed up" in the theatre. After spending a day in port wearing shorts and getting hot and sticky, it's nice to take a shower and put on clean clothes for the evening.

As musicgirl noted, there are activites during the hour between the show and dinner. The family cabaret shows in Rockin' Bar D are very popular. There are musical acts in the lounges, with no pressure to buy a drink. Your Navigator will list other events.

After a long day of running around the boat or on shore, we are all pretty hot and sticky. So we usually start getting ready around 5:00. Shower then dress for dinner. Get in line for the show around 6:00 (we like front row seats) and then after the show we get pictures taken, take a stroll on the deck and get in line for dinner.

But if you choose to wait until between the show and dinner to get ready, you should have plenty of time.

We do both. We get dressed BEFORE the show on formal and semi-formal nights because we like to have our pictures taken. So we go and do that right after the show (the lines are usually long) and then go to dinner. On the other nights, we always just go to the show in our day clothes and go back to the room at 7:30 and change. You have plenty of time because they do not even let you into your restaurant until 8:30. And it's not like you have to get there early to get a good seat (LOL). .

Plus, it's relaxing to go back between the show and dinner because we leave our verandah door open, enjoy the sounds of the ocean and get ready.

You'll get the hang of it -- enjoy.
