Hi everyone- just a quick question. I've never done ADRs before - it seems like it is a good idea to arrive a little before your actual ADR. Does anyone have any opinions on how early to arrive? (Eg 5 minutes, 15, 20?)

Thanks in advance!

We just got back last week and had 4 ADR's. We got there early for all by about 10 min's, but got seated late (two were as much as an hour late). The late ones seem to be the dinners, but the breakfast buffets were more on-time. I felt Chef Mickey's was by far the most organized and not over booked. Good luck and have a great Disney vacation.

We arrived at each of our ADR's about 15 minutes prior to our time. We were seated at or within five minutes of our ADR at all but Boatwright's and Liberty Tree Tavern (we were seated on time for LeCellier, Crystal Palace, Plaza Restaurant, Mama Melrose's, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Cape May Cafe

Honestly, we do anywhere from 15-20 minutes. When we were there last week, we waited up to 10 minutes just to get up to the hostess stand to check in.:scared1:

I would arrive at least 10 minutes early.

We had an ADR last SUnday at 6:10 at CapeMay. Due to the checkin line, we were not at the podium until 6:14. The nice lady said my ADR was actually at 6:00 and we would be fit in when they could (translation, I just lost my ADR). Everything eventually worked out just fine (it was an ADR for 9 people).

They only hold the ADR for 10 minutes past the time scheduled. Due to many issues beyond your control, you may be late checking on. (One time it took us 20 minutes to get through the securoty gate at the Poly for our ADR at Kona. There were so many people coming through at the same time and the guard was looking wach person's ADR up in the system to see if you really had an ADR0

10 minutes is good. We've actually gotten to places 1/2 hour early, just walked up to the podium to "wonder" if we might get in early--and often we do! Other time there is a bit of a wait--depends on which restaurant, what time, and what night.

We usually try for the early ADR's so we just arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand. If the restaurant has been open for a while me might go 15-20 minutes before.

We´re usually there 10 min. prior to our ADR.
