Hi everyone,
Getting ready to book air for July vacation. Was wondering if we could make an 11 am flight out of Orlando on Southwest for Sunday after 3 night cruise?
Thanks!

Technically yes, you could make it, but you need to be one of the first off the ship (usually allowed around 7:45 am) and you need to have private transportation to the airport. With enhanced security measures you'd want to be at the airport by 9:00 and with a 45-60 minute drive from the port you'd be cutting it close.

For peace of mind I'd personally try for a flight a little later that day. :)

I agree with Michelle...you would definitely want to be one of the first off and have a ride waiting for you!!
On our last trip, we used Happy Limo, but we arranged our pick-up for later...we didn't worry about getting off early because our flight wasn't until 2. Good thing, as when we arrived at the airport, it was PACKED with passengers from every cruise line all trying to get through security at the same time. The security line literally stretched past the airline check-in desks and all the way to the doors. We just did some shopping and had a leisurely lunch at Chilis, and by that time it had toned down some. If we had had an early flight, we would have been HOSED! I would definitely skip breakfast and get off early in that case, and have a towncar waiting for me so I didn't have to worry about the bus. Also, beware that unexpected things, such as the ship being delayed getting into the port or lost luggage, can also crop up.
