Does anyone know if all the resort restaurants open for dinner at 5:30 or do some of them open at 5:00?

I pulled out my Island Palm Press from the Polynesian and both Kona and 'Ohana open for dinner at 5pm.

I think it depends on the restaurant. When I made ADRs for Boma, the CM said it opened at 4:30.

It does vary because I asked a CM that exact question when I called to make ADRs. The earliest for Kona was 5:00, but the earliest for Concourse Steakhouse is 5:30.

It absolutely varies....I didn't mean to imply that all opened at 5pm. Just giving two examples of variances from 5:30 which I think IS a common opening time. The last I knew, Citricos and Narcoossee were 5:30. I think Yacht Club Galley is too.

I had no idea Boma opened that early!

Disney Dining Reservations can tell you the operating hours. I've called and just inquired on serving times of various places I was considering so I could plan out my plan of attack.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about changing our ADRs for the night that we go to MNSHHP because they are at the Concourse and the earliest I could get was 5:40. I like the adult menu for Kona and it would be perfect because it is on the Monorail. However the kids menu I saw only had the typical items and my DD likes real adult food like steak or chicken breast. Does anyone know if Kona has nightly specials including ones for kids?
