Hi everyone,

I know it's a strange question but does anyone know roughly the amount of time from parking (if you drive to the park) until you set foot within Disneyland? This is counting Tram lines, ticket lines, etc?

I'm trying to decide if we should up our dining reservations since I'm not sure 30 minutes would be enough.

Thanks!

It has taken us 30 minutes before without even having to wait to buy tickets. You may want to put in a little extra time...just in case. You can always shop or check to your reservation early.

From the Toy Story Lot 10 minutes. From Mickey and Friends about 20. From both add in the security wait which can be from 20 to 1 minute more.

If you use the Toy Story lot you can buy tickets right there. That will save you time! Or you could buy online and skip all the ticket lines!

From M&F it seems to always take us 20-30 minutes and that's without having to buy tickets. It also depends on when you're arriving. First thing in the morning usually doesn't take quite as long since there's not as many cars in line to get in and you are usually directed to park in the lot outside the structure so it doesn't take as long to get to your parking spot and you're closer to the trams.

Well, first thing arriving near park opening time can be awful. First thing arriving 30+ minutes early has not been too bad for me. :)

I agree with the Hydroguy, I like to get to places earlier than most. Arriving when the park opens can be a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time before you get to the entrance.

Sorry, I meant arriving early in order to get to the park before opening time, so yes, 30+ min early. But even when we've gone early and had a bit of a line it's nothing compared to the mess it is a little later when cars are backed up all the way on Ball Rd to the freeway overpass. (i'm thinking of the craziness around 11am on a sunday :scared1:)
