I've been reading a lot of posts about these postcard or e-mail pins and have a few questions. Some people report getting the postcards after they request a Disney planning package, is this true? I requested a package about 2 weeks ago ( still nearly tackling my mailman to see if it is in there yet ) LOL but no luck yet. I believe that when I ordered the package online it asked what time of year I was planning on visiting Disney. Since it is not until November maybe they aren't in a big hurry to send mine out but what do you all think of my chances of getting an e-mail or postcard for that time period?

Regarding the time periods, has anyone ever gotten a postcard and not been able to go during that time but been able to use the code for a different date ( ie in value season )?

What are some of the best rates you've gotten on the CR either the Garden Wing or Tower. I have already booked a room only reservation for November with the AAA discount but would love to get a better rate.

Oh yeah are some resorts easier to get discount codes for. The CR seems to book up earlier than some other resorts from what I've read. I would also consider staying at either the Poly or GF but I really want to be close to the MK wiht my two little ones.

Sorry for all the rambling but you guys seem to know it all. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I got may e-mail code BEFORE I ordered my planning kit! I don't think there is any rhyme or reason. :confused3 Very happy I got one though!!
