I just noticed that the 9:00 time for Wishes was pushed back until 10:00 every night of our week long trip except one night. And that one night doesn't really work with our schedule of parks. (9/21 - 9/28)
There is NO CHANCE our kids will make it until 10:00+ for the fireworks and I'm so bummed out. A
Anyone know why?

I am super bummed about this as well. I think it seems super odd for September to be having two MSEP and wishes at 10. Anyone have any insight?? I know for sure last year it was MSEP at 8 and Wishes at 9!

Look like during my dates the week day ones still are at MSEP 8, Wishes 9 with the weekends having the later time slots.

I hope it's just a mistake and they add another 9:00 show. I'm just so bummed. 9:00 for wishes was even pushing it for us to take the kids to.

take a nap or go into the parks a little later one day to see them, its only an hour it can be done

Just let them take a long nap or go back to the hotel for some R and R for a little while. It's worth it

They probably expect the parks to be busier than first guessed.

I agree with the previous poster who said pick one day to see the fireworks, and take the kids back to the resort for a nap. To me, Wishes is a must do, at least once a trip.

How old are your kids 2009CAN? My little one at six was able to go 17 hours straight in the MK, he was so excited and overstimulated. With very young ones it's understandable but older ones might surprise you. The only time my little one has ever gotten "tired" at Disney was for a 2am EMH one night (we always rope drop too, so he was going on 20 hours+ awake).

Hope you can work in a late day or some way to get to see the show. Really special and magical for the kiddos!

There may be some chance that it is a mistake, but they will not "add" a 9:00 Wishes if one is scheduled for 10:00. With a regular schedule (not a party night), they may do two MSEP's in one night, but not two Wishes.

If they do the MSEP first, it has to be dark enough before they start. It doesn't get dark until later in the summer.

If your kids watch the parade first, they will be awake enough for Wishes. It's upbeat and exciting and gives the kids a second wind.

I'm a little confused because EWDW says both MSEP and Wishes start at 10:00 on several nights during the week of our stay (Sept. 21-26). But I'm thinking that can't be the case, right? Usually they are an hour apart.

What is "EWDW?"

The info at the link below (generally, a very accurate calendar) says that Wishes will run
every night at 9PM during your dates (except on MNSSHP nights.)

September TA Calendar

Hmmm. I was just looking at the easywdw.com calendar for Sept and noticed what might be a mistake. On the week in question MSEP is scheduled for 8 and 10 pm and Wishes for 10 pm on several nights (Sat, Sun, Mon, Thurs, Sat). Since they can't do the parade and Wishes at the same time, I'm willing to bet that Wishes should be at 9 and the second parade at 10 as Robo has stated.

Sorry for you OP! I am hoping for this to happen to me for our October trip. Wishes is at 9:00 and we have BOG ressies for 8:45 so we won't get to see it. They are not having it on the other two nights that we are there.

If you look at Josh's detailed info, it says 9 pm and 8 pm for that one day, so it looks like just a typo on the colored calendar. Josh also posted the revised TA calendar that Robo linked above last week.

So the OP has no issue.

And I sent an email to Josh letting him know.

How old are your kids 2009CAN?
The three of them are four and under.

This gives me some hope that we can do a 9:00 viewing.

Yeah, four and under is a bit of a stretch. I hope you find a resolution and I hope the calendar is a mis-print. Here's to a wonderful trip and a good viewing of Wishes! :goodvibes

Thank you :)
I know that the "nap them" advice would be great for one of them, but not the other two. It's just a fickle age and I have kids who LOVE their sleep ;)
