time for vacation-got to eat at...........???

i can't enjoy a vacation unless i get my pre-flight or on the road meal at cracker barrel............is it the food, the coffee, the golf tee game, the ubiqutous talking parrott toy.....i don't know, but me love it and can't vacation without it.

any other vacation eating traditions you might have???

Unfortunately the pre-vacation ritual that my family finds the most amusing is my extreme agitation and anxiety. Just want everything to go right. I'm fine once we get there.....

Another Cracker Barrel here!

I normally take the first flight out in the morning, as early as possible. This puts us at the airport in the area of 5 A.M. most times I bring a bannana, then normally get the little snacks on the plane..combined with lots of coffee We make a habit of sitting down and having something nice once we arrive at our Hotel

When flying, I get a Dunkin donuts bagle at the airport(we fly early morning).
When driving we have a lot of snacks in the car...all our favorites, m&ms, wheat thins, diet coke, etc... and we will stop at a Mcdonalds for dinner along the way.

We stop at Cracker Barrel when we drive somewhere. It's the only time I treat myself to chicken and dumplings.
