I got a reply, she said they were going to shut them off, but they may not see the thread to close it. So one of two things, you can let a mod know when it is time to close it, or what some people have been doing is calling it the never ending thread. Meaning it will go on forever. So PIO what would you like to do? I have no idea who started which thread. But this is our answer.
