I have an 8:50 Tusker House to surprise the kids. We have a Safari FP that ends at 10:20. Any chance we can do both of these? I am worried about making it. How long does dining at Tusker take and are you normally seated on time? I have tried to modify it earlier and the Safari a bit later but get nothing. Thanks for any input.

First, get there early for your ressie at Tusker. Since Tusker is a buffet you really can get done quickly with eating. Just make sure everyone is getting their food and eating. Next, don't get caught spending way too much time with the Disney characters and taking pictures. Ask for your bill; so, you can pay quickly, too.

The Safari is close to the restaurant; so, this will help you.

I feel if you follow the above you won't have any issues.

I agree you will be fine. We did this last week with a 10:45 reservation and a safari FP that ended at 12:15. They told us it would take 75 minutes for characters to make the full rotation around the restaurant but it actually didn't take that long for us.

We had an 8:00 am breakfast, were seated pretty close to on time, experienced all the characters, and were out by 9:00. You may be a bit tight on time, but it should still be doable.

You will also have 15 mins grace period if you are slightly late but don't push that.

As others have said, I think you'll make it. However, it probably wouldn't hurt to try pushing your FP back a bit if possible, so you don't feel stressed or rushed during your (expensive) character meal.

You should be fine. Breakfast takes just a little over an hour and the ride is very close to Tusker House.

I am going to continue to try this but as of today there are not any later that morning and I don't want to change my afternoon because I have FOP.

You'll be fine. As others have said, ask for your check when you sit down so you can pay and not have to wait until the end of the meal. TH should take about an hour, tops. The safari is so close to the restaurant. You shouldn't have a problem.

Its a very short walk from Tusker House to the Safari and you do have a grace window on the FP. You can always tell them you were late from the restaurant as well if you have any problems.
